Amy Halteman earned a Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapy from Drexel University’s Hahnemann Campus. She is a board-certified music therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings with individuals with a wide range of diagnoses. Amy earned a Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance from Temple University, where she studied with Anthony Gilgliotti, former principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has also studied with Janine Thomas, David Weber, and Mark Nuccio. Amy has taught private clarinet students of all ages for 16 years. She has appeared as a clarinetist in various professional ensembles in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas and has performed as Lancaster Symphony Orchestra’s second clarinetist since 2001.
