Music lovers in Haverford Township have convinced officials that a day filled with live music, food and fun would be a good thing for the community. The first Haverford Music Festival will take place in the heart of Havertown on two main stages. Admission will be free for 10 hours of live music beginning at noon. Plans call for over 30 bands and performers featuring something for music lovers of all ages. Attendance is expected to be around 5,000 to 7,000.
